May 17 : Seminar: Steve Cirone will talk to us about photographing birds. Steve is a top bird photographer in San Diego and has received many awards for his work. Refreshments: TBA.
May 31 : Workshop: Kerry Snider will show us how to attract and photograph seagulls and other birds in Ocean Beach. Time and location to be announced later.
May 31: Host the PAB. (noon to 4pm) Debbie Loomis and Diane Marinos.
June

June 7 : Competition. Project: Hanging Around. Refreshments: Clark Winsor.
June 14: Host the PAB. Steff Strachan and Fred Mandabach.
June 21 : La Jolla Tidepool Workshop led by Ernesto A. Corte. 7 a.m.
Meet at La Jolla Tide pools located just north of the La Jolla Lifeguard station on Coast Blvd.

November 1 : Competition. Project: Historic. Refreshments: Beverly Brock.
November 15 : Workshop: After Capture: Using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to organize and edit your images. Refreshments: TBA.

November 15 : DEADLINE for year-end competition submissions. Choose 11 of your best images (they must have received 7 or more points in a 2008 Poly open competition). Also send any images that won first- or second-place in a 2009 project competition. Deliver them to Bill Godwin-Austen.


November 16: Host the PAB. Ann Sturley and Bob Howe.
